Went on a little adventure to breathtaking Joshua Tree over the weekend as a belated birthday getaway. I felt so inspired by the dramatic rock formations and beautiful sky that I wanted to wear something rather ethereal and fitting to the heavenly surroundings. Note: do not hike up a rocky mountain on 4 inch heels, especially with a beer in your hand and a floor length, spotlessly white skirt. Lots of falling and nearly ruining your brand new double-slit maxi will ensue. Anyways, it was even more magical than photographs can capture and now it's nearly impossible to transition back into real life. Sigh.
